Who Is God?

A Creator, A Father, A King

John 14:6 "Jesus saithe unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

1st John 4:8 "Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love."

Revelations 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

1st John 4:16 "So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him."

Deuteronomy 32:4 "The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he."

Colossians 1:16 "For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him."

Luke 18:27 "But he said, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.”

1st Timothy 1:17 "To the King of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen."

John 3:1-24 "See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. The God I Know

Turn your head up to the sky

Then look beyond the stars

There in Heaven enthroned God is

Watching all of us from afar

Mighty is his hands that

Hold the world

Mighty is His Word

That was given to us

And was already there

At the time, creation occurred

Everything you can see

With your eyes

The stars, the sea, the grass, the sky

Everything that walks the earth

Every creature, and all mankind

When he designed you and I

Each of us both unique

He created us with different qualities

And gave us special character

Yet, we are all still made

In his image, so to speak

His love for us is so deep

One can not even comprehend

It is also spread so long and wide

It's a love that never ends

He knew before he created us

Who we were meant to be

Because we were made by

The King of Kings

The author of everything

That is, was, or has ever been

Have you ever been asked by someone who is God or what is God? Have you ever been asked the question, "Why do you believe in God?" God is more than just an invisible being in the sky like some non believers may think. He is so much more than we can even imagine. The Word Of God, the bible, is not just some old book that tells humans how to live and tells of an imaginary place that we are all to go to when we are judged when we die. The stories of the bible are more than just historical facts...

God is alive and he is in everything...

One thing I would like to point out is that if you are a believer in God, then you most likely have a personal relationship with him too. I think one of the coolest things about God, are hearing and witnessing people's testimony's about him, and how he has intervened somehow in their life. Every believer has a unique relationship with him, we all met him in our own way, in our own time, and every day he shows us his love for us in all kinds of different ways.

When you are not a believer, or before you became one, life can be very hard, it may seem dark and dull. Even when you do believe, this world is often misguided. But when you live In the light, even when it does get difficult, you can have peace. This is a peace from God that nothing can compare too, no matter what is happening or changing around us, God is always the same. He never changes. That's what I love about him, he is constant and in my life I need that, I think everybody needs that, honestly.

God is also so good. He is good father, he is a good secret keeper, he is a good advice giver, he is a good friend, he is just overall good. No matter what anyone may try and portray him to be, he is nothing but good. If you need a bad guy to blame, the bible tells you his name...But when it comes to the lord everything that stems from him is kindness and love and light. Lots of non believers may argue this, but I am telling you, when you receive his spirit and accept his love, it changes you. It changes everything around you, it changes everything in and about you. Believing is seeing, not the other way around. You need new eyes to see, new ears to hear, when you become new in God your sight and hearing changes too, before you were just in darkness, after God become the light that pierces through it.

"God is the creator, he made us in his image and so we also create things, ourselves. But he knew us from the beginning and all his promises come true till the end. His greatest desire is for us to get to know him, so he can in return show us that he has always loved us and will love us forever. He is a faithful God and there is no one like him. No man can match his grace or truth, no other God can save you like he can do."

Prayer For Today

Heavenly Father,

I come to you praising your name, giving you everything, and knowing you are in all and above all. You are a good Father, my best friend. Your promises for me and all are true nd I believe that you have always loved me and will forever. I give you all the glory because you are the only God who deserves it. May my whole life be blessed with your blessings, may your light inside me shine unto others, so that they, in return, may find peace and hope in you.
