Where Will You Go?
2 Thessalonians 1:9 " They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might."
Revelation 21:8 "But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
Matthew 10:28 "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell."
Matthew 25:46 "And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Matthew 6:19-20 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal."
John 14:2-4 " My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?"
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Matthew 10:28 "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell."
John 11:25-26 "Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
Revelation 1:7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,” and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.” So shall it be! Amen."
Revelation 1:18 "And the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades."
Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"
Matthew 7:13-14“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."
Revelation 22:1-5 "Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever."
1 Corinthians 15:51-57 "Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” ...
Should She Stay or Should She Go
She asks herself often when she look in the mirror
"Am I good enough? Am I worth it? Who am I really?
I get so stuck in my head, I wish things were clearer"
Who will rescue her? Does anyone even see her?
It feels as if she's always alone, even in a room for a people
Some she doesn't but some she knows. No one asks her
"How have you been?" and "What's going on lately?"
Or "It's so good to see you again."
It's not like she's emo wearing nothing but black all the time
It's not like she's homeless on the streets holding up some large HELP ME sign.
She would love a good friend, someone to just talk to.
A person to share her story and all that's she's been through.
But no one even notices her, not one single soul,
She's just a face in the crowd that nobody knows.
After weeks and weeks of silence, with not one phone call ring,
She decided maybe it's time to end everything, take my own life and just go.
"Why should I keep going? Just living for myself? "
"Nobody caring if I live or goes?"
So she takes a large bottle of pills prescribed for her health,
The one's you take once a day, not just whenever you feel.
But suddenly the temperature changed with all the pills in her hand,
And she felt something happen she can't really explain.
But it was like the holy spirit inside her sparked up a flame
And told her "Don't do it! I will take all your pain!"
Then the storm that was inside her began to feel calm,
And she cried and she cried all rest of the night long.
After that moment deep in her dreams she awoke the next day
Knowing exactly what her and her life really needs.
She already had God, you would think that's enough,
But a church family will keep her on track and also provide her some help.
It's hard to explain but there is so much that God does and can do
He speaks when you stop to listen, and he picks you up when you fall.
Everyone, and I mean everyone, has had a moment like this in their life?
But did they have Jesus, Could they feel and hear him? Or did they just die?
Life can get heavy, life can be hard, it can take away everything,
But God knows your heart. When you feel all alone, you really are not.
And if you can give it to Jesus, he can carry a lot.
When you can't see, he will be your eyes,
when you get afraid or alone, he's right by your side.
Now a few years later, she thinks about her past,
How hard was the struggle and how long it seemed to last.
She can't help but question her actions that night.
If she would have bypassed his calling, Then she would not be alive.
After finding new friends, and going to church, her burden felt so much less
And took away how much she hurt.
But it's hard to listen to God's voice inside, some take their life.
And then, they're just gone, Just disappear and they die.
They miss out on God's plan he had for their life.
And Every single day he had planned with him and to keep them alive.
It may seem unimportant to take away your own life.
Some say it's your own choice to die or survive.
But it isn't your choice, God plans out your days, He makes all your paths, he plans every way.
It should scare you a lot, to end your own life,
Because what if that life is the only life you got?
She doesn't know who ends up in Heaven or Hell, or how far you must fall from grace?
Or how long you must go on denying your faith?
She started out just an ordinary girl, but God took her pain,
And then changed her whole world. She still has her own problems, she still lives with some fear.
But now she knows she's never alone.
He is with her now, and was with her there.
So many people, almost everyone I'm sure have asked themselves this question? What is gonna happen to me when we die? Biblically speaking our religions say we will either go to heaven or we will end up in hell for eternity. Some religions thinks this happens right away. Others claim we wait in purgatory or paradise until Jesus come back to earth and we all are all raised from the grave then caught up to heaven and ultimately judged. Honestly, the bible doesn't have a lot of details about the afterlife other than that it's gonna be forever with no more death whether you are in hell or in heaven, it's for eternity. I'm not gonna lie as much as I love Jesus and my Father God, but at the same time, I am terrified of just the thought of being separated from their love Forever. But even if it happened I could never imagine worshipping anybody else, no matter where I end up, God's will must be done and always trump mine.
I personally think the devil won't win a soul. The devil tries his hardest to make humans believe that he is the authority of hell and that we should worship him like we worship God. But every single thing in that thought process is wrong. The devil is the father of lies. He wants you to think he holds some kind of power higher than God's. But if you read your bible you will find out he has to have permission from God for All that he can do, including angels too. Both fallen angels and Heavenly angels are made different from us and may have powers that we on earth do not possess, so they may be able to influence you and tempt you. But God hold all the authority on what and to whom they can do it to. Read Job and you will understand more.
Here is one example of what I mean, I personally love rocks, crystals, and herbal remedies . I also love earthly things like herbs and gardening, I even make my own tinctures and I use them and even sell them because its an amazing thing how God can use a plant or two to make you feel better or fix a headache or even uplift your mood. Unfortunately though there are thousands out there that believe crystals have power and herbal medicine is like practicing witchcraft. So here you have to be careful. Because the bible says that witchcraft is adultery. Unfortunately The devil is just a snake slithering around lying and letting humans think he is in control, and if you practice using candles and rocks as idols and tinctures as potions then you are worshipping the devil being gullible enough to believe that Satan gave it power. But he did not. The thing is even if rocks and or candles or herbs have power it is because God made it that way, not Satan. "But where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matt 6:21 "And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times and strength of salvation, the fear of the lord is his treasure." Isaiah 33:6
There are only a few passages that clearly describe what Heaven and Hell are going to be like. I believe the reason God doesn't go into the big mystery of Heaven and Hell is for many reasons. First of all God's plan is a mystery and in a lot of passages say and imply it is suppose to be this way. We are not God, we are made in his image, but we are certainly not all powerful or all knowing like he is and we are not meant to be. What I can honestly tell you is that there is in fact a Heaven and a Hell. But the souls that end up in hell do not belong to the devil. All souls belong to Jesus Christ and God and the authority of both Heaven and Earth is theirs.
Hell though is not a joke, it is indeed a place. A place prepared for fallen angels, the devil, the antichrists, and false prophet, and all other souls who do not choose to fear God, praise God, or follow God. They will be in a place of everlasting torment and fire. This is a place where evil thrives and we will not be with God anymore. If you go to hell there will be a separation from all and that is what hurts the most. Once Jesus comes back or our time is up and death calls for you, where are you going to want to be eternally? Don't take a chance with the devil and his games, turn your face upwards to Heaven where you can be set free. Want to know what happens to the devil at the end of our time, here is a passage for you, straight from the word of God.
Revelations 20:9-15 "And they marched across the broad expanse of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. But fire came down from heaven and consumed them. And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, into which the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Judgment before the Great White Throne Then I saw a great white throne and the One seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. And there were open books, and one of them was the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their deeds, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire. And if anyone was found whose name was not written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."
Now Heaven is an all together different subject. It's going to be beautiful and all things from gold to sapphires will be all around us but not for moneys sake but for beauty's sake. We will all be so eternally grateful and free, it won't matter to us, all the sins and horrors we faced in life, because God is gonna wipe all that away and make everything new! We will probably have huge worship stadiums in the heavens among the stars where we will sit together and sing worship songs and praises over God and The Lord and The Holy spirit for eternity because there is no time in Heaven. Just everlasting love. We will be surrounded by our family and friends and we will never tire or feel sorrow again. I believe heaven is so magically divine God wants us to be prepared but also be excited! Be excited about the mystery, be excited that God is the light and he is bigger than we could ever consume in our earthly bodies.
To conclude when I take my final breathe, I want to go to Heaven and be with the one who loves me and created me for a purpose. Exactly as I am Forever and forever. And I pray that you do too!
Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
1 Corinthians 2:9 "But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”
John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him."
Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, Holy be your name, may your kingdom come and your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, Please allow me to study the bible more, so that I may make the right choices and understand that you are the only one who holds power and authority over my life. I am so thankful that you have given me life and that when my time finally comes I will change and be able to live with you forever. You love me now, and I know everything prepared for me is good. Help me to listen and obey even when it's hard, so that I may make you happy and proud.
In Jesus Christ Name,
Amen.
